Redevelopment of a 0.33-hectare site in the Windsor Town Centre Conservation Area. The scheme proposes a new mixed-use residential development, encompassing 68 residential units, retail space and car park provision. A number of listed buildings surround the site, including the Sir Christopher Wren’s House Hotel, Theatre Royal, Windsor Bridge and Windsor Castle.
Along with the site’s historic brewery building footprint, this unique context helped inform the development’s design. The site is also located next to the River Thames and consequently, flood resilience became a key design consideration and development. (Completed whilst Director at OWAL Architects).
