Our team recently submitted a planning application for a single storey extension and remodelling of the atrium space at The Yard to provide additional flexible office space. The development will act as an incubator for new businesses wanting to move away from more formal offices and benefit from a ‘WeWork’ type flexible office scenario.

The proposed material palette has been carefully selected to blend in comfortably as part of the application site’s surrounding context. Steel and glass have been chosen to complement the aesthetic of the atrium, to be seen as a comfortable addition to the proposal’s wider environment.
