Balanced sensitively within the Norfolk Broads, the retreat for botanists, orientated around ecological exploration, is perched just above the flood Design Level. The stilted design allows for free water flows under the building and the minimal screw pile structure with transfer deck takes a “touch the earth lightly” approach.
